Satisfaction Guarantee
We will gladly refund eligible purchases within 7 days of purchase when the original purchase receipt is provided and the original price tags are still attached. BBO Rewards Members may extend the satisfaction guarantee from 7 days to 30 days.
Refunds will be processed to the same method of payment used for the original transaction. If a refund cannot be processed to the original method of payment, the refund may be issued to a Big Box Outlet gift card. Gift cards do not expire and can be used at any Big Box Outlet location.
Returns are processed in store only. Please bring the item, original receipt, and any required tags, packaging, manuals, parts, or accessories to the store for review.
Return Conditions
- Items must be returned in the condition in which they were purchased.
- Original price tags must still be attached where applicable.
- A copy of the original purchase receipt is required unless the transaction can be verified through a BBO Rewards account or eligible payment lookup.
- Clothing and footwear must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with original tags attached.
- Products should include original packaging, manuals, parts, accessories, and bonus items where applicable.
- Big Box Outlet reserves the right to limit or decline a return or exchange if the item does not meet the conditions of this policy
What If I Do Not Have a Receipt?
If you are a BBO Rewards Member, we may be able to look up your past transactions and process an eligible refund up to 30 days after purchase.
For customers who are not BBO Rewards Members, we may be able to look up debit or credit card transactions and process an eligible refund up to 7 days after purchase. Cash transactions cannot be looked up. If we are unable to verify the purchase, we will not be able to process a refund or exchange.
In-House Warranty
Large appliances and eligible plug-in items may qualify for an additional 1-year extended warranty. The extended warranty can be purchased for 10% of the original pre-tax purchase price and must be added at the time of the original purchase.
Gas-powered items, electric power tools and equipment, and eBikes are not eligible for an extended warranty. However, gas-powered items and electric power tools and equipment may still be covered by the 90-day in-house warranty, subject to the terms and conditions of this policy.
Sleep Guarantee
We offer a 90-day sleep guarantee on select mattresses when a BBO Approved Mattress Protector is purchased on the same invoice as the mattress.
If you are not satisfied with an eligible mattress, we will gladly exchange it for a different mattress model. If the replacement mattress is a higher-priced model, you will be responsible for paying the difference at the time of exchange. Eligibility varies by mattress and will be confirmed in store at the time of purchase.
Final Sale and Non-Returnable Items
Items identified as final sale or non-returnable at the time of purchase are not eligible for return or refund. Examples of items that may be final sale or ineligible for return include:
- Undergarments
- Mattresses, except where eligible under the 90-day sleep guarantee
- Gas-powered equipment
- Electric power tools and equipment
- Gift cards, except where required by law
- Items that have been used, damaged after purchase, altered, assembled, or returned without required parts, tags, packaging, or proof of purchase
Final sale and return eligibility information collected at the time of purchase, on the receipt, or in store will apply when processing a return or exchange.
Information Collected During Returns
Information collected at the time of a return or exchange will only be used to process, verify, and track the return transaction, and to help prevent return fraud or misuse of the policy. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Big Box Outlet Privacy Policy.

- This policy applies to purchases made at Big Box Outlet retail locations.
