I used to love this place and have spent 10,000’s of dollars here over the decades, I have been shopping with them.
This visit I asked if it was under new management, apparently it isn’t.
Loads of items unpriced, messy shelves.
Xmas and Halloween food stock still on the shelves ( and not discounted).
Prices higher than I paid for them at Costco.
No sign of the friendly helpful long time staff members.
Undercover security staff, so obvious it’s rude.
Very doubtful I will be back, despite having shopped at this chain since it was MTF and recommending it to dozens and dozens of people over the years.
I would not recommend based on my visit today.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent visit to the Big Box store at the Walnut Grove location. As a long-time customer, I have noticed a significant decline in the store's standards. During a recent tent sale, the outside music was excessively loud. Inside, the store was very disorganized and messy. Furthermore, the public washroom completely lacked soap, toilet paper, and paper towels, which is a serious hygiene concern. I also observed employees speaking in Persian language on the sales floor instead of communicating in English with customers. I strongly believe regional management needs to step in and review the operations of this location, as the current environment has caused me to lose motivation to shop here.

I was in the store on Sunday May 17 with my daughter and we were outside looking into the bins than we came inside cuz the music was loud and it was playing a different language so i approached the manger and i told her it was to loud and the music didn’t make any sense and she looked at me snd said ya soo if you don’t like it you know what to do and she pointed at the front doors and i said to her really its that easy. Than she walked away. So i continued to look around than i proceed to the check out where there was a gentleman at the cashier with a bag of candy asking the cashier to have it for five dollars but the cashier said over and over to him no i can’t than he said call the manager so she did and the manager came and talk to him in her language and told the the cashier to give to him for five dollars and my daughter had the same bag of candy and i looked at her and said ohh i get it for the same price and she shookec her head no snd smiled and walked away.

I shopped at Big Box Outlet, and the store was really clean and organized. I expected prices to be more discounted, since it’s an outlet, but they were pretty standard—not too high, just not as low as I anticipated. Overall, it’s a good store, but if you’re expecting super low outlet prices, you may not find that. Still, prices are fair and up-to-date.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 85 year old aunt. She was in the walnut grove location March 1st and was disgusted by the customer service she recieved. She was in the seasonal aisle needing help , which she asked an employee for some help - name tag said pryanka- the employee then said shes busy and will find someone else to help. My aunt waited over 25 minutes for someone to come help so she went to the same employee again to ask her for help and the employee rolled her eyes and brushed her off and ignored her and walked away. My aunt spent a total of just under an hour in the store and not one employee would help and she left unhappy and disappointed the store has such lack of customer service . Would not recommend for people to shop this location!

I have very fond memories of coming to the original MTS store when I was a young kid with my grandma (over 20 years ago!).
All of their locations are similar but different if that makes any sense at all. Whether it be my favorite pair of Levi’s jeans, an extension cord or shaving cream, this store represents impressive value, a generous return policy and super awesome staff.

We bought a drum set from Abbotsford store and had some pieces missing. Ken was such a huge help! He was so nice and fixed the problem asap and made an annoying situation surprisingly pleasant. Will definitely be going back for future purchases, felt cared for and satisfied. Thank you again Ken! You are a lovely human!

We have been dedicated shoppers at the Big Box Outlet Store in Walnut Grove for over 3 years now after having moved from Alberta to British Columbia. At that time, we were greeted by some of the most friendly sales people, making us feel welcome and part of the community. Some of those sales people now, we view as friends (Doug, Diane and James are absolutely awesome!!). Things though have dramatically changed, and not for the better. There has been a new Manager for approximately 5 months now. Never once has she said hi or greeted us. It seems that all of the staff are on pins and needles as she is watching everyone critically. One day, when we were there, she went outside and found an empty coffee cup, came back in and demanded if anyone knew whose coffee cup that was right in front of all the customers - so unprofessional. Now, we do not shop as much at that location of the Big Box Outlet. We miss the friendly atmosphere and attention at the Walnut Grove location - so sad that this has happened !

Grey the assistant manager is very rude. THE PRICES ARE MORE THAN COSTCO.
The store is really messy. If you don’t price match why do you guys advertise? Why do you think you own the store and don’t follow company policies?

I had a wonderful experience at this outlet store. Tanveer was very helpful and made the whole process smooth and easy. I purchased a mattress and am very happy with the quality and service. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great products and excellent customer service!

I had been on the maple ridge location and you can find better prices, this location is bigger and more assorted but to be honest the prices are not worth it, you can find the same in costco with the confidence and security of return it or claim the warranty.
